How the madness started
At the start of their secondary school experience, two of the contestants in this group discovered PiWars through an already existing group invested in this opportunity from their school. As they both have had previous experience in IT and robotic based activities (having taken part in the PiWars competition “Old MacDoofus had a Farm” the previous year), they decided to create their own team and involve some of their friends with alike interest. After having signed up and established their group they started “BoBot”.
Sohaib, AJ and Kai contribute a very creative take on robotics and technology use. They all came together to work on PiWars based on their long-term friendships and past collaborative experiences throughout their school career and their off-screen hours long “Rainbow Six Siege TM” binges.
They created BoBot as a tribute to the older generations that have participated in PiWars and hope to win.
Overall, BoBot is the creation of hours of figuring out not only how to solder properly but also making sure to double check each component before pressing ‘Run’ on any code.
